Sportsbet Bet With Mates Bonus

The $2 million Sportsbet Bet With Mates Bonus is run during the NSW Spring Carnival over six nominated sprint races.

The nominated races are the Concorde Stakes, The Shorts, Premiere Stakes, the Everest, Sydney Stakes and Russell Balding Stakes.

For each race the points were allocated 5,4,3,2,1 for finishing first to fifth respectively for each qualifying race with the exception of the Russell Balding Stakes, with this race carrying double points.

To be eligible for the bonus, horses needed to contest a minimum of three of the six races forming the series.

Finally, where an emergency is elevated into the field for the Everest from the Sydney Stks, and finishes between 6th and 10th inclusive, that horse accumulates one point for the Sydney Spring Sprint Series Bonus.

The bonuses are paid to the top five eligible point-scorers as follows.

Sportsbet Multi Bonus

The Sportsbet Multi Bonus is payable to eligible horses that finish first, second or third in the Russell Balding Stakes on 2 November 2024 at Rosehill Gardens.

To be eligible for the Sportsbet Multi bonus, horses need to have contested one of the TAB Everest, Sydney Stakes or The Kosciuszko at Royal Randwick on 19 October 2024.

The bonus is paid to eligible placegetters in the Russell Balding Stakes as follows. However, the bonus for first is increased to $1 million where a horse wins both the Everest-Russell Balding Stakes.

Sportsbet Emerald Mile Bonus

The $1.5 million Sportsbet Emerald Mile Bonus is based on points earned in the Epsom Handicap (5 October 2024) and King Charles III Stakes (19 October 2024).

The middle-distance bonus will be paid to the horses accumulating the most points from the two races. Points will be awarded based on 5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th and 1 point for 5th in each race.

The series will see bonuses paid to the top four eligible horses from the two races.

The bonus is paid to the top four point-scoring horses. To be eligible to win a bonus, horses needed to contest both the Epsom Handicap and King Charles III Stakes.
