Trainer Anthony Cummings has advised Racing NSW Stewards that Dufresne, an acceptor in the NJC 3YO Spring Stakes at Newcastle this Saturday, has sustained an abrasion to the outside of the upper forelimb after slipping over this morning.

Dufresne has been examined by Racing NSW's GM-Veterinary Services, Dr Toby Koenig and deemed suitable to race.

Mr Cummings will consult with Racing NSW veterinarians on Saturday morning and further advice will be provided if necessary.

Dufresne will be subject to further examination after arriving on-course tomorrow.
