Track Good 4 and rail out 7.5m so likely even early before trending wider later in the day
Race 1 MAIDEN HCP (1500m): |

Small but competitive maiden field over the middle distance to start. Liked the way progressive 4YO mare 8. She's So Savvy from the John Sargent stable at Randwick hit the line resuming in a handy maiden at Kembla, and draws to coil up back in the field and get the last crack.
Dangers: Randwick 3YO gelding 1. Gogal is knocking on the door after two runs back at the provincials, both times only collared late after leading for a long way. Looks the pace-setter again. Wyong mare 5. Queen Snip gets first use of the inside, although naturally inclined to get a fair way back. Looking for more ground after four improving runs this prep.
How to play it: She's So Savvy to win and quinella 1 and 8. Odds and Evens (First 2): Split
She's So Savvy runs second at Kembla on April 7

The girls do battle here, and there's a few chances. Tough 5YO mare 1. Joy For Us from the Kim Waugh yard at Wyong had to switch course at the 200m in a deep CL2 here last start, but still found the line, and can peak fourth-up. Doesn't need to get as far back from the inside draw, and gets right back in at the weights after form jockey's 2kg claim.
Dangers: Progressive Godolphin filly 4. History landed a strong betting move when leading all the way second-up at Kembla, and looks capable of stepping sharply to this grade, although carries 4kg more. Promising Randwick filly 2. Madam Legend swept home for a smart maiden win here first-up when heavily backed, and stable also quickly jumps to this level; while Randwick filly 6. Smart Success is another one rising off a strong off-speed maiden win fourth-up at Wyong, and should relish the bigger track.
How to play it: Joy For Us to win. Odds and Evens: Split.

Fairly open race at similar level over a longer trip. Capable 4YO gelding 1. Karmazone from the Hawkesbury stable of Daniel Robinson was a little disappointing getting home at Kembla fourth-up, although didn't have the best of runs, and now weighted to his best. But previously had attacked the line well in two stronger Provincial C'ship Qualifiers, and only has to reproduce that form to be charging over the top.
Dangers: Not convinced the inside draw suits talented 3YO Randwick gelding 6. Kirwan's Lane, but the way he's hit the line in his last couple, will be hard to hold out especially at the weights after a 2kg claim; while Rosehill 4YO 3. Fast Train has been freshened off a nice closing run here, and is best of the rest.
How to play it: Karmazone to win and quinella 1 and 6. Odds and Evens: Split
Karmazone runs sixth at Kembla on April 7

Always fascinating when the babies lock horns over the scamper trip, and most are on debut. One of those, home track colt 3. Kinloch (I Am Invincible x More Beautiful by More Than Ready) from the Kris Lees yard has spent plenty of time at the trials careering away to easily win his latest, running a smart final 600m in Soft 7 ground. Draws the outside barrier, but has good tactical speed.
Dangers: Plenty of them headed by Randwick colt 6. Stoical who returns from an average debut at Sandown two months ago when well backed, but looks better placed here, and leading stable has made some key gear changes. Another first starter Randwick gelding 2. Finally Realise (All Too Hard x Found The One by Bel Esprit) looks ready to roll off a strong soft track trial when controlling the speed and held together through the line. Big watch on debutant Randwick filly 9. Kittyhawk Flyer (More Than ready x Wings Of Success by Flying Spur) who has trialled fairly and gets in well at the weights. Warwick Farm colt 1. Already Blessed kept finding the line first-up on the heavy at Kembla, although may find a few of these too sharp; while Scone filly and first starter 11. Our Award (Time For War x It's You by Celtic Swing) has had two trials for smart country stable, bolting in the most recent.
How to play it: Kinloch to win and box exacta 2,3,6. Odds and Evens: Split.

Now the more experienced maidens, and again it's fairly open. Randwick 3YO gelding 1. Devan is hard fit, and banging on the door after finishing well here in his last two.
Dangers: Godolphin filly 10. Pitjara impressed on debut charging home from well back in a handy maiden at Gosford, and should enjoy the bigger track. Resuming 3YO Rosehill filly 11. Lady Herbert will likely drift back, but has plenty of ability and trialled quietly; while 3YO Warwick Farm gelding 9. Bluff 'N' Bluster is another who likes to get back and finish off, and even better back on firm footing fourth-up.
How to play it: Devan to win and trifecta 1,10,11/1,10,11/1,9,10,11. Odds and Evens: Odds

Good quality race for the boys with several chances. Loved the way lightly-raced 4YO gelding 7. Tapiconic from the Maher-Eustace yard at Warwick Farm finished off at Kembla resuming from a lengthy break. Still got plenty to learn, but has a tonne of raw ability, and can power home on a track that suits.
Dangers: Smart Rosehill 3YO 8. Favra looms as the biggest threat after four runs back, and drawn to get a charmed run, with a 2kg claim. Launched home to win his maiden here two runs back as a hot favourite before again closing off okay at Wyong. Can peak now, and much better off back on the bigger track. Improving 4YO Warwick Farm gelding 4. Big Bad Bruce was terrific third-up powering home to beat a smart field at this level, and while up 2kg, well capable of repeating the dose. Be surprised if the winner comes outside those three, but include Godolphin 3YO 2. Montserrat who disappointed at Kembla, but previous form was good, and gets blinkers for the first time; while Randwick 3YO 1. Bullet Fly should be peaking third-up from a soft draw staying at this trip, but handicapper hasn't missed him with 60.5kg.
How to play it: Tapiconic each way and box exacta 4,7,8. Odds and Evens: Split

The most open race on the card is saved for last. Progressive 4YO local gelding 4. Bombasay from the Lees stable can strike fourth-up from a good trailing draw. Swept home to win a CL2 on the Beaumont track three runs back before working home late in two high class Provincial C'ship Qualifiers.
Dangers: Muswellbrook mare 6. Trophies Galore is also in good form finishing hard to win at home two runs back before again charging late to beat all bar Hardspot here. Talented Warwick Farm gelding 13. Maroch needs a scratching to get a run, but has been hitting the line nicely all prep, and gets a pivotal 2kg allowance.
How to play it: Bombasay each way. Odds and Evens: Split.
