Hawkesbury Track Update - Races 1600m+ (Tuesday)

Racing NSW and Hawkesbury Race Club advise that there is some doubt surrounding conducting races longer than 1600m on the Hawkesbury program scheduled for Tuesday 15th March due to the heaviness of that section of track.

As a contingency, should that section of track not improve, the Benchmark 64 Handicap over 2000m on the Hawkesbury program will be transferred to the Newcastle program on Thursday 17th March.

This potential race at Newcastle will be conducted as a Benchmark 64 Handicap, 1850m and would require an amendment to the field size of 14 + 2 Emergencies. However, with the rail to be out 6m at Newcastle, the race would be run over 1880m.
