Wyong Races (Sat) Transferred To Sunday (New Times)

Due to the 2pm Bureau of Meteorology update forecast now 42 degrees at Wyong for the scheduled race meeting on Saturday (4th January) - and no likely change to the forecast - Racing NSW has decided to move the meeting to Sunday (5th January).

Sunday will provide greater comfort to horses, participants and raceday patrons with a much more favourable forecast of 24 degrees.

Wyong race times:

Race 1- 1:35
Race 2- 2:10
Race 3- 2:45
Race 4- 3:20
Race 5- 3:55
Race 6- 4:35
Race 7- 5:15

NOTE: The race meeting scheduled for Gilgandra on Sunday (5th January) is in significant doubt due to the forecast maximum temperatures of 43 degrees Celsius. However, if the Gilgandra meeting does proceed, amended times will be advised for both Gilgandra and the Ballina race meetings.

A final decision on the Gilgandra race meeting will be made early on Saturday morning.
