We start with the youngsters on a surface that could improve further into Good range. Trapeze Artist colt 1. Automated looms as the one to beat on debut for a leading two-year-old metropolitan stable. Comes off a strong Rosehill trial in heavy going, and gear changes have been made.

Dangers: Improving colt 6. Delrico was well beaten on debut at Warwick farm, but drops back to provincial level here on a drier track. Another one having his second start, 10. Retainer can also improve sharply on firmer going from a more economical gate. 2. Perfect Justice is an intriguing watch on debut at good odds. By boom juvenile sire Justify, and starts his career as a gelding in blinkers behind two progressive trials. Include both 3. Puerto Banus at his third start, and 5. Anabaa's Spirit who draws the fence with a key gear change; in trifecta and first four plays.

How to play it: Automated to win

The second division of the two-year-olds sets up for emerging metro colt 8. Zousain Bolt who was no match for a dominant provincial winner at his second start, but kept working home in what was a better race than this.

Dangers: Well touted 5. Comic Culture was only fair to the line on debut at Scone, but fitter now on a drier track with blinkers added, and the regular trial jockey gets back on. Watch the betting on 2. Komodo Dragon, a debutant by consistent sprint sire Hellbent in the John O'Shea yard, who starts as a gelding behind three trials, the latest given an easy time in the same trial as the top selection. 12. Tokyo Lady fourth-up heads the rest.

How to play it: Zousain Bolt to win

From the same stable as the previous race, talented three-year-old 9. Spanish Fox can return with a bang, with the winkers coming off. Was only beaten by the winner in three straight runs to cap his initial prep, and signified he's ready by winning the second of two trials on rain-affected ground. Bred to run a strong mile and beyond, and this looks like a nice starting trip, especially with one of the early fancies being preferred at Canterbury on Wednesday.

Dangers: 11. Du Cap is deep into her prep, draws to get a soft run, and is now looking for this extra trip. 7. Lone Force can improvely sharply getting back on firmer footing second-up, and drawn to get cover; while 1. Aranese resumes off two trials, bolting in the most recent by more than seven lengths.

How to play it: Spanish Fox to win

This shapes as the breakthrough race for promising and lone two-year-old 1. Rampazetto who has shown more than enough in two runs back to start his first full prep. Wasn't overly suited in very heavy ground at Muswellbrook, but still kept finding the line as an easing favourite. More ground and a return to firmer footing in what is a moderate affair depth-wise; are all keys from just off the speed.

Dangers: Keep safe 2. Waamil who also improves on drier ground second-up for the Waterhouse-Bott camp. Over the odds is 4. Crusheen Lass second-up over a much-needed longer trip; while 8. Jed who is hard fit and trained on the track; and 10. Sizzling Tale if he backs up in four days; both go in exotic bets.

How to play it: Rampazetto to win

Lightly raced provincial filly 8. Lights Of Paradise can strike third-up. Was dominant leading all the way in a Scone maiden before given a month's let-up, then returned with a solid placing in this class in heavy going. Bred to handle all going, and looks well in here on the limit weight.

Dangers: Naturally, big watch on 1. Odegaard reloading two months after sweeping home to win on debut at Hawkesbury, and was drawn to get a similar run. 4. Able Red comes off a solid finishing effort in country BM 66 grade, although will have to get across from a wide draw. Locally trained 2. Woodlander is capable of running into the money fourth-up. Gap to the rest.

How to play it: Lights Of Paradise to win

Talented Godolphin filly 12. Equipage is well placed here fourth-up despite tackling a deeper race. Flew home to win her maiden at Hawkesbury as a hot favourite before running home late in metro company, and then stiff not to win 23 days ago in a CL1 at Scone. Drops 2kg for this, desperate for the extra trip, and a superior jockey takes over.

Dangers: Watch the betting on country-based 4. Scopics who has been more than competitive in consecutive CL3 Highways at Randwick. After three straight comfortable front-running country wins where she dictated with superior tactical speed, 2. Miss Cartel gets her first taste of stronger provincial opposition. Again drawn to roll forward, but far more depth here, and is a massive risk on this more demanding circuit. At bigger odds, 1. Medinah 18 days after a fresh country win in CL2; and 5. Serene Nic fourth-up and back from metro BM 72 grade; are on the next line.

How to play it: Equipage to win

In a race of many chances, home track filly 11. Drama Dodger improves sharply third-up back on drier ground, and boosted by the early favorite being preferred at Canterbury on Wednesday.

Dangers: Expecting significant improvement from 1. Capital Heart second-up from a softer draw, and senior metro jockey taking over. Was scratched from Canterbury on Wednesday to be saved for this. 3. Global Empire has been freshened via a smart trial win, but will have a job slotting in somewhere from a wide gate. Include 4. Eastern Front second-up and a stablemate of the former in trifecta and first four plays.

How to play it: Drama Dodger to win

Despite drawing wide, two-year-old Randwick filly 10. Waterville can rubber stamp her progression with a second career win fourth-up in her first full prep. Has been working to the line okay in deeper provincial and metro line-ups, and drawn to get to the outside stepping up a furlong in trip on dryer ground, can all combine to flick the switch.

Dangers: Keep safe 5. Rico Suave who has been given six weeks since running home hard to claim a CL1 here second-up. Keep safe progressive 1. Scalextrics who rolls forward, and steps up to provincial level after three straight wins in the country; while honest 4. Rebel's Edge is over the odds deep into his prep.
