Race 1 PROV & CTRY MAIDEN PLATE (1100m): |

Shallow maiden at set weights to start. Like improving filly 9. What A Peach who hit the line from a long way back on debut behind a smart winner, and can settle much closer here from the inside gate.
Dangers: Progressive three-year-old 3. Adios can go one better at his third start after twice missing out narrowly, the latest behind a smart one who then went to Warwick Farm and one again on Monday. Blinkers have been added. Gap to the rest although watch the betting on Price Of Dubai filly 5. Hold Fast To Love who debuts behind two steady trials.
How to play it: What A Peach To win. Odds and Evens: Odds a special
Race 2 CLASS 1HCP (1200m): |

Resuming mare 2. Global Queen is the one to beat from a handy trailing draw. Has been fitted with two trials, and fresh last time missed by a whisker attempting to lead all the way in similar provincial company.
Dangers: Talented Japanese-bred mare 4. Princess Glamour steps straight up from an all-the-way maiden win first-up off a 12 month absence. Given she is naturally race fitter and draws well on a tighter circuit, will take plenty of beating. Keep safe 1. Kobestar who normally takes a few runs to hit his straps but a strong first-up closing run in a handy provincial BM 64 augurs well for this longer trip, although style is much better suited to a bigger track.
How to play it: Global Queen to win and box exacta 1,2,4. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 3 BENCHMARK 64 HCP (1600m): |

Tricky and tactical battle over the mile. You can be sure four-year-old mare 3. Comme Bella Fille will be fit enough first-up. Has been given two searching trials up to 1200m, and was a dominant provincial winner over further in early June at just her third start since coming over from NZ. Beautifully bred by Group 1 winner Complacent out of a mare by Kiwi champion Danske, and draws to find a trail off the fence.
Dangers: Improving four-year-old 5. Star Sparks should be able to find the front, and take plenty of running down around this joint. Dug in impressively to break through at only second start, but looks poorly weighted carrying only half kilo less jumping straight from a country maiden to a provincial BM 64. Local six-year-old 1. New Tycoon and tough five-year-old 4. Oakfield Hiawatha can fight out the minor end of the prize.
How to play it: Comme Bella Fille to win. Odds and Evens: Odds
Race 4 MAIDEN HCP (1200m): |

The seven day back-up into a race with less depth is a big pointer that three-year-old 3. Hold On Honey can break through at her third start. Was heavily backed when overhauled at Wyong, and the winner was the only horse that day to break 34 secs for the last 600m. Draws to get a soft run.
Dangers: Godolphin filly 5. Steelsheen is the immediate threat from a handy trailing draw after a solid debut; while first starters 4. Midori Beauty and 6. All Too Scottish; both off three progressive trials; go into exotic plays.
How to play it: Hold On Honey to win and box first four 3,4,5,6. Odds and Evens: Odds
Race 5 MAIDEN PLATE (1900m): |

Improving four-year-old 3. No Question is no great shakes, but he finds an ideal trip fourth-up in what is a very weak race at set weights. Has worked home late in his last couple, and can be tucked away on the inside and produced before the turn.
Dangers: Capable colt 8. Moorabinda Mick steps up sharply in distance at his fourth start; while 9. Lovin' Feelin' also goes up sharply in trip with blinkers back on after two modest runs back.
How to play it: No Question to win. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 6 BENCHMARK 68 HCP (1900m): |

A string of gear changes on a five day back-up can pay dividends for tough five-year-old 4. Oakfield Cherokee who is hard fit and primed to win again. Stuck on okay after leading at Newcastle, and gets nice weight relief on a track that suits him better.
Dangers: Big watch on 5. Tea Leaves returning for his first run since autumn. Broke through at third start in deeper grade before being a mile outclassed at Group 3 level, and has been given two quiet trials. Tough last start BM 64 winner 1. Microna has to slide across from a wider draw, but can give another big sight on-speed around this smaller circuit.
How to play it: Oakfield Cherokee to win. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 7 MAIDEN HCP (1000m): |

Open sprint where first starters should have a big say, and so too the betting. Keen to be aboard promising Shalaa three-year-old 3. Captain Kenny on debut. A two-time trial winner on the synthetic, he's been given plenty of time in a stable that's one of the best around with younger and new horses.
Dangers: Keep safe another debutant, three-year-old filly 10. Invincible Nature who has also trialled well; while 2. Auzstar resumes behind two trials with blinkers removed.
How to play it: Captain Kenny to win. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 8 BENCHMARK 64 HCP (1100m): |

Progressive Star Witness mare 4. Eyewitness can make it four wins from only seven starts given five weeks since a convincing display over a handy sprint field at Wyong. Up in weight, but the trainer has made key gear chances, and holds a big opinion of this girl.
Dangers: Godolphin mare 6. Attribution has only missed a place once from eight starts, despite only one win, and resumes off two forward trials. Local four-year-old 2. Alpha Go resumes off a narrow trial win, and normally comes to hand early in the prep; while unbeaten mare 5. Passistas has started a hot favorite in all three wins so far, but this is a decent step up to provincial grade from moderate country opposition.
How to play it: Eyewitness to win and quinella 4 and 6. Odds and Evens: Evens
BEST BETS:
R3 3. COMME BELLA FILLE
R8 4. EYEWITNESS
BEST VALUE:
