Hearing Of Charges Issued Against Jockey Troy See

Racing NSW Stewards have scheduled the hearing of charges issued against licensed jockey Troy See in respect of his conduct at the Murwillumbah race meeting on Saturday, 21 January 2023.

On Friday, 27 January 2023, Stewards issued charges under the following Rules:-

(1) AR218(4)(b) – Having possession of a mobile phone in the jockeys’ room.
(2) AR232(c)(i) – Refused to obey a reasonable direction of the Stewards.
(3) AR232(c)(ii) – Hindered Stewards in the exercise of their powers and carrying out their duties.

On Sunday 29 January, after considered submissions made by Mr See, Stewards enacted AR23(a) and suspended his jockey's licence pending the hearing and determination of the charges.

The hearing of these charges is scheduled for 11.30am on Friday, 3 February 2023 at Racing NSW Head Offices, Sydney.
