Zaaki – Report From Trainer Annabel Neasham

Trainer Ms Annabel Neasham has this afternoon notified Racing NSW Stewards that results of a blood sample collected this morning with the permission of Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Peter Curl revealed a slightly elevated white cell count. Ms Neasham confirmed that Zaaki presents as being clinically normal.

Stewards have provided authority for a further blood sample to be taken from Zaaki this afternoon, the results of which will be available early tomorrow morning. The results of this further blood test and the horse’s clinical condition will be assessed early tomorrow morning to make a determination on Zaaki’s suitability to race.
