Trainer Joe Pride Reports To Stewards - Shalatin (Rosehill, Sat)

Trainer Joe Pride has reported to Racing NSW Stewards this morning that Shalatin, an acceptor in the Longines Golden Slipper at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, has been found to be displaying lameness in the off-fore leg.

A veterinary inspection of the colt by the stable veterinarian has identified the lameness as most likely due to a plating issue.

The off-fore plate has been removed from the colt and it is currently receiving treatment to that foot.

The intention is to replate the colt later today whereby Shalatin will be subject to a veterinary examination by the stable vet and Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig.
