Following its participation in a barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens this morning, jockey Nash Rawiller reported to Stewards that Think It Over did not trial up to expectations.
Think It Over was consequently examined by the attending Racing NSW Veterinary Officer and found to be displaying a delayed recovery.
Trainer Mr Kerry Parker has advised that he will have a thorough veterinary examination performed on Think it Over by his stable veterinarian and report the findings of that examination to Racing NSW Stewards. A further update will be provided when available.
[Update at 6.10pm on Tuesday]: This afternoon, a veterinary examination was conducted on Think It Over at the request of trainer Kerry Parker after the horse showed signs of delayed recovery following its barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens.
The stable veterinarian reported to the Stewards that the examination, which included a lameness, cardiac examination and an upper respiratory tract endoscopy, revealed no significant findings.
Further, Mr Parker informed the Stewards that Think It Over appeared normal and did not display any apparent issues on return to his stable after transport from this morning's barrier trial.
