Goulburn’s Danielle Seib, with ever increasing status in TAB Highways, has given a compelling lead for a seventh series success at value odds by separating dual accepting stablemates Kenichi and Cable Express for Hawkesbury on Saturday.

Kenichi, with notable circumstances in his favour, is the elect for Hawkesbury while highly promising dual winner Cable Express will be scratched in preference for the Wagga Wagga MTC Guineas on Friday.

Danielle explained Kenichi’s previous unplaced Royal Randwick effort in February was a total forgive, according to rider Jason Collett, as the dual-winning four-year-old Maurice (JPN) protege carries 55.5kg for airborne Tyler Schiller into a $120,000 Class 2 1500m from barrier 4.

“Jason said he copped a bad bump in traffic when he was travelling and lost momentum, and could have been in the finish,” Danielle explained.

“He’s just so tough and genuine, had a freshen, good gate with Tyler, on pace so ticks some boxes.”

Schiller has ridden recent doubles at Canterbury Park and Rosehill Gardens and is big demand at home at the Wagga Wagga Carnival.

“He's well placed with the freshen back to 1500m in a Class 2 off solid form at 1800m and 1600m,” Danielle adds.

“We’re going to the Wagga Guineas with Cable Express, he led to win the Prelude really bravely from a good field, drawn midfield opposed to 15 at Hawkesbury.”

Riverina comeback great Danny Beasley who won on the promising gelding was retained wherever he started. The stable has a high opinion of Cable Express with two wins from three starts and unlimited upside.

Kenichi is two from 11, three placings and races on pace, vital at Hawkesbury and will be strong at the distance.

While the influence of James McDonald for impressive dual Scone winner Gentileschi makes it favourite it’s likely unders up in grade.

While typically, Matthew Dunn with 35 series winners and the proven form lines of Eagle Farm and Doomben form with Bandasha and Zelgaria are hardest to beat.

Nash Rawiller has a prolific strike rate combining with Dunn in the series.

Josh Parr rides Zelgaria and both are drawn to advantage in a typically capacity field. At present Hawkesbury is a good four in overcast conditions.
