Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the G2 UNSW Todman Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.
Rachel King (Anamoe): “He feels enormous. Even just cantering to the gates, he’s just got that real sense of class about him. He’s a definitely a level above them, I haven’t sat on a horse like that in quite a while. He gave me a super feel before the race and an even better one in the run. ”
“He has put his hand up today, he had to against these horses, this was going to prove where he is at. His form in Melbourne was strong and taking the blinkers off today meant he really relaxed in the run and did everything right. I think we have a really exciting horse.”

Hugh Bowman (Profiteer): “Superb effort.”
Glen Boss (Alpine Edge): “He’s a beautiful colt. He’s very immature. Will make a lovely 1400m- miler. Beautiful colt.”
Nash Rawiller (Home Affairs): “Beautiful colt. Think he will be suited by the pressure of a Slipper. A bit of new string to his bow the way he settled today.”
James McDonald (Stay Inside): “I was rapt with him. He’s obviously a very adaptable horse on fast ground, he got back a bit far. He’s gone super.”
Tommy Berry (Remarque): “He’s just lacking that match practice. A little bit of fitness there as well. No doubt he’s got the ability. He’s just not there yet.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Direct): “Just needs a bit of time.”
