Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 Tooheys 150th Shannon Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens.
James McDonald (Mister Sea Wolf): ““He was super today, showed a great turn of foot on that ground, he was really strong to the line.
“He’s a horse that you’ve got to time your run with, but he’s very talented when he gets it right.”
“It’s great to ride a winner in these colours. I’m not sure what’s the plan for him, he’s got to be a chance in the Epsom if they look to head that way.”

Brenton Avdulla (Gem Song): “I thought he did a good job. Obviously he began well and the speed wasn’t quick so I allowed him to stride forward. I reckon he’s a top-five show next week for sure.”
Glyn Schofield (Tom Melbourne): “Another very honest run from him today. There was a lot more spark in himself today - the other day he seemed just a little off-colour, not having any speed but today it was all there and he gave a good fight.”
Jason Collett (Noire): “Good run. She worked home well.”
Tim Clark (Con Te Partiro): “She ran well. She was out-sprinted but stayed on okay.”
Jay Ford (Abdon): “He wasn’t too bad. Obviously he needs to get over further and will be looking for wet ground.”
Andrew Adkins (Volpe Veloce): “Jumped really good today with the blinkers on, travelled super, just a little bit disappointing in the straight. Back to the drawing board.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Avantage): “Nothing to add.”
