Cosmic Force rocketed into Golden Slipper calculations on the back of a dominant seven length romp in the G3 Bowermans Office Furniture Pago Pago Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Here's what the jockeys had to say after the race.
James McDonald (Cosmic Force): “That horse gave me an unbelievable feel. He relaxed super in the run and when I asked him to give a boom he gave a boom. He was strong on the line. He has gone enormous.
“Even his demeanour around at the stalls, he was very quiet, he jumped well and puts himself in a good position for a two-year-old and if he can accelerate like that, with the weeks rain we are about to get, it’s going to take a good one to beat him.”

Kerrin McEvoy (Hightail): “We were travelling wide the trip and he didn’t enjoy the ground.”
Sam Clipperton (Stronger): “Very brave effort, relished the ground and hit the line strong.”
Jason Collett (Yulong Savings): “Raced ungenerously early, showed little.”
Brenton Avdulla (Lubuk): “He struggled a long way out.”
Tommy Berry (Born A Warrior): “He was good, the query with the wet track that he just doesn’t like it was confirmed today. He didn’t sprint on the ground, but it was a gallant effort to hold on to second.”
Kathy O'Hara (Mo's Crown): “He really struggled in that going today, but he’s a nice colt, he’ll be better back on top of the ground.”
Corey Brown (Autocratic): “He ran well, the further he goes the better he’ll get.”
Christian Reith (Dawn Too Good): “Really nice run, got back worked through the field nice, hit the line strong. Nice colt.”
Glyn Schofield (Famous): “Very nice horse, showed good speed early on and just emptied out on the wet ground.”
Damian Lane (King's Champ): “He didn’t go today, when he got cluttered up he seem to resent it and maybe better on top of the ground.”
Jay Ford (Rejinsky): “Inexperience took its toll.”
