James McDonald (Tarka): “It was a really good run. He was left a bit flat footed on the corner and just couldn’t peg back the ground. He is probably a Blinker horse.”
Brenton Avdulla (Irukandji): “He ran okay. I let him slide up outside of the speed. I thought he was going to go with the winner but he is a bit of a bull, he doesn’t give me 100%.”
Hugh Bowman (Tavirun): “He was disappointing. I think he got a bit lost the first time this way of going. I wouldn’t be too critical of him.”
Tommy Berry (Panzerfaust): “I got taken out of the race on the corner when Hugh stopped. The race was off and gone by then. I liked the way she hit the line late. She is probably six months away but is a nice filly going forward.”
