Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $250,000 Canadian Club Emancipation Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Brenton Avdulla (Roots): “She was well presented here today. I rode her first-up and she was off the bridle the whole way at the shorter trip. Then I thought she was okay second-up, maybe had the edge off her a fraction. But 1500m around here, perfect. She jumped well, she executed really well so she was able to have the right spot at the right time and just used her turn of speed there halfway up, and she really quickened well like a nice mare.
“Today she possied up really well, travelled strongly. I think 1500m around Rosehill really suits her and she presented at the right time and Chris (Waller) had her spot on ready to go. She’s got away with a really nice race.
“She’s got a really good turn of speed and if you try and stretch her out it probably just pulls it out of her a bit. I’m not one to tell Chris (Waller) what to do, he’s a champion trainer for a reason.”

Nash Rawiller (Atishu): “Very proud of her. Enormous run. It will be the run of the day really.”
Regan Bayliss (Finepoint): “Great run. She is on track.”
Tom Marquand (Promise Of Success): “She has run a nice race. Probably wants a bit more rain.”
Brett Prebble (Argentia): “She struggled.”
John Allen (Statement): “The start was probably costly. She will take good benefit from that.”
Sam Clipperton (Mirra Vision): “She hasn’t gone too badly.”
Ryan Maloney (Larkspur Run): “Slipped badly at the start and unfortunately that was the end of it.”
Tyler Schiller (Bring The Ransom): “She was terrific. A great second up run.”
Tim Clark (More Prophets): “She is actually going a lot better than her form suggests. Barriers are just crueling her.”
Dean Yendall (Toregene): “Just not herself.”
Chad Schofield (Dynasties): “She ran well. She got a bit outsprinted but she picked up late and wasn’t fully tested.”
Zac Lloyd (More Secrets): “Very good run. She is definitely proving herself in this grade.”
Rachel King (Riduna): “Very honest run. Just 1500m in this grade saw her out.”
