Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the $750,000 Cincotta Chemist Craven Plate (2000m) at Royal Randwick.
Joao Moreira (Lindermann): “He wasn’t very lucky to get the split right away. That might have just done him good because then he got that cover he was getting until he got half-way up the straight, pulled out and obviously had the horse to go past and just win the race. Very nice horse and very nice win.
“It’s just so easy when you deal with such a kind of a person, isn’t it? He’s amazing, so talented as a trainer but he’s even better as a person. So for me, he’s just making my life so much easier, treating me the way as he is. I’m extremely glad to be riding winners for him.”

Kerrin McEvoy (Spirit Ridge): “Great run. He is going to get nice improvement off that as well. He was only beaten late. Good effort.”
Nash Rawiller (Democracy Manifest): “Super run. Just got tangled up turning for home. He’s hit the line well.”
Chad Schofield (Numerian): “Good first up run. He didn’t get beaten far.”
Tyler Schiller (Fawkner Park): “I thought he’s done a great job to come from that far back with the big weight. He is still looking for that 2000+.”
Rachel King (Arapaho): “Super. So pleased to see this horse back to his best. He has got plenty of improvement. Very good today.”
Tommy Berry (Rediener): “Nice enough run from him today.”
Tim Clark (Converge): “Back in a slowly run race. Made it hard for him.”
Tom Sherry (Naval College): “Very pleased. Good first up effort. Will show good improvement from that.”
Adam Hyeronimus (New Endeavour): “I thought everything was well until we got bumped around. He’d had enough after that.”
Zac Lloyd (Red Wave): “Ran really well. Just no luck from the barrier.”
