Brenton Avdulla (Kolding): “I felt in control a long way out when Tagaloa dropped off. Just had to get there and take my time. He just lacks that turn of speed that he had a couple of preps ago. He felt the winner and Hughie was on top of him pretty quickly and got a head in front of me. To my bloke’s credit once he felt her there he lifted into another gear and showed his G1 dominance.

Craig Williams (Zoutori): “Shame I couldn’t utilise that barrier. I wish he’d jumped more cleanly to sit much closer. He over-raced a little bit. For the time that they ran he ran extremely well under the circumstances where he positioned.”

James McDonald (Dreamforce): “He ran super. Very proud of him. He’s a privilege to ride that horse.”

John Allen (Fifty Stars): “He’s run super. Was caught a bit flat footed at the top of the straight. Another fifty yards and he nearly wins it.”

Glen Boss (Imaging): “He’s going OK. He probably just really needs a 5 or 6 track to suit this horse.”
