James McDonald Stood Down From Riding Due To Injury

James McDonald has this afternoon notified Racing NSW Stewards that he has received specialist medical advice to stand down from riding at tomorrow’s Warwick Farm meeting due to the injury he sustained to his left foot at the Rosehill Gardens meeting on Saturday 3 February.

He will also not be declared for rides at the Canterbury Park on Friday 9 February and the Royal Randwick meeting on Saturday 10 February to assist in his recovery from the injury.

Riding replacements for the Warwick Farm meeting will be released as they become available.

A further release will be issued in respect of James McDonald’s return to race riding following further medical assessment of his foot injury.
