Gear Clarification & Stewards Comments - Verona (Kensington, Weds)

Please note the following information regarding VERONA (NZ) which is having its first race start in Australia for trainers co-trainers Maher/Eustace on the Kensington Track on Wednesday (16th March).

Race 5, No.11 - VERONA (co-trainers Maher/Eustace): Racing NSW Stewards wish to confirm the filly will wear Blinkers and a Lugging Bit, as it has done for its past 3 race starts in New Zealand.

In addition, when the horse last raced in the Karaka Million 3YO Classic (Listed) at Auckland on 22/1/22, it featured in the Stewards Report as follows: “Slow to begin. Steadied when improving onto heels near the 1050m.”
