Australian Turf Club hosts a 10-race card at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday under the strictest of COVID-Safe protocols during the latest NSW Government stay at home orders.
Only essential personnel and racing participants will be permitted on course this Saturday, with no spectators admitted.
The meeting will be broadcast on SKY Racing 1 and Sky Thoroughbred Central for Foxtel subscribers and also available through the TAB App for account holders.
Jockeys and trainers this Saturday will be placed in separate areas for the duration of the meeting and a range of ATC and Racing NSW measures above and beyond the official NSW Government orders will be implemented.
Saturday’s meeting – with 147 acceptors across the 10 races – includes the first running of the Midway Handicap.
This is a new series of races to be run each Saturday for eligible horses trained by small to mid-sized stables and those not included in the top 15 Sydney trainers as ranked under a special annual points system.

Australian Turf Club Chief Executive, Jamie Barkley said the racing industry would continue to implement the strictest of protocols.
“Racing and the Australian Turf Club has lead the way in being able to continue to operate during COVID disruption for the benefit of the industry and people at home,” Mr Barkley said.
“We are especially grateful for the patience and understanding of our Members, thoroughbred owners and all of our customers whilst racedays remain closed to everyone except essential racing participants.”
The Rosehill Gardens track was rated a Heavy 9 on Thursday morning. For all racing and general information go to TheRaces.com.au
