Please note the following additional stewards comments from the Hawkesbury meeting on November 18, regarding runners at Saturday's Rosehill meeting:
Race 6, No 11 - SPALTET: Shortly after the start was crowded. From a wide barrier was then shifted behind runners in the early stages. When questioned regarding his riding rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight and as to whether there was an opportunity to shift to the outside in an endeavour to obtain clear running, rider B Loy stated that upon entering the home straight, Butch’N’Bugs shifted out and away from the rail and he was of the view that Butch’N’Bugs would continue to shift out and take advantage of runs that presented which would have denied him the opportunity of obtaining clear running. He added for this reason he elected to shift to the inside of Butch’N’Bugs whereby he was able to place his mount under some pressure for a short distance until then being held up from the 300m where he was then obliged to shift to the outside of Butch’N’Bugs and Shaka Rock and furthermore Salsonic to obtain clear running passing the 150m. The Stewards advised B Loy that the better option would have been to shift to the outside of Butch’N’Bugs in the early stages of the straight which would have enabled him to obtain clear running sooner.
Race 8, No.9 - DEFICIT: Slow to begin and then shortly after the start blundered. From a wide barrier was then shifted behind runners in the early stages. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight before shifting inwards near the 300m to secure clear running.
