Stonebrook Wants Further Stonebrook lost his unbeaten tag when he was gunned down by Passage Of Time but Adam Hieronymus hasn’t lost his faith the horse. The four-year-old showed brilliant early speed to take up his customary spot rolling along out in front to go down 0.2L at the finish. “I’d say he just wants a little bit further now,” Hieronymus said. “It was still a very good run and the winner had a pull in the weights.” Joe Pride, whose stable is firing at the moment, said winner Passage Of Time will now head to Hawkesbury for the $150,000 Listed Ladies Day Cup (1400m) on November 9. Redouble and Damian Browne Punters steamed into Redouble (again!) and after he bottomed out to run a head-scratching last, it was evident that something was very wrong. Turns out the four-year-old pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia. Speaking to Jason Collett after the race he said he “was on empty” a long way from home. Easier said than done but best forget the run when assessing his chances next time out. Meanwhile, Damien Browne was stood down from his last two rides due to an injury. The veteran hoop said he heard a click when riding out High Mist to the finish before suffering soreness down the right side of his neck. He certainly looked in no state to ride leaving Randwick.
