The Board of Racing NSW Country wish to extend their sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of jockey, Darren Jones who was tragically killed in a race fall at Warialda on Saturday.
“Darren has been a well-known, well liked and respected jockey in the North West and tablelands region for many years and our thoughts go out to his wife, Sheridan and family during this tragic time,” said Bob Pavitt, Chairman of Racing NSW Country.
Mr Pavitt also extended thoughts to the other jockeys involved in the fall; Leanne Henry and Melanie Bolwell, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
