Please note the following for Rosehill Gardens on Saturday (31st August).
In Race 1, No.1 - ASSAULT’N’BATHORY: In regards to its late scratching at 11:20am on the Kensington Track (Saturday, 17th August 2019), the gelding underwent a pre-race vet's exam and was found to be lame (3/5) in the off fore-leg.
Trainer Ms Danielle Seib was advised by Racing NSW Stewards that a detailed veterinary examination, in consultation with Racing NSW Chief Veterinarian, Dr Toby Koenig, would be required prior to the gelding racing again.
Ms Seib subsequently advised, under veterinary supervision, the gelding competed in a jump out on Tuesday, 20th August 2019, where it performed well. The Stewards have since received a specialist veterinary clearance from the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden, which has passed the horse fit to race.
