Trainer Reports To Stewards - Flamin' Al (Gosford, Thursday)

Trainer Brad Widdup has reported to Racing NSW Stewards that after barrier trialling for the Waterhouse/Bott stable at Warwick Farm on 9 October 2017, FLAMIN' AL, which is now in his stable, was found to be 3/5 lame in the off-fore leg.

The gelding subsequently underwent surgery at Randwick Equine Centre on 12 October 2017 to repair a fracture to the off-fore medial sesamoid, including the insertion of two screws.

Mr Widdup furnished a specialist veterinary clearance for Flamin' Al on 26 July 2018 and the gelding has since barrier trialled satisfactorily on two occasions; at Hawkesbury on 10 September 2018 and at Warwick Farm on 24 September 2018.

Flamin' Al is engaged to compete in Race 2 (No.4) at Gosford on Thursday, 4th October 2018.
