Racing NSW Stewards on Friday, 24th May 2019, continued an inquiry opened on Saturday, 6 April 2019 into the circumstances which led to the late withdrawal of Princess Jenni from the Adrian Knox Stakes conducted at Royal Randwick on that day.
Evidence was taken from trainer of Princess Jenni Mr David Brideoake, who was assisted by Barrister Mr Adrian Anderson, instructed by Ms Kate Brideoake; Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig; Racing NSW Veterinarian Dr Darien Feary; Racing NSW Stipendiary Steward Mr Scott Matthews; Racing NSW Investigator Mr Matt Gibson; Owner of Princess Jenni Mr Tony Ottobre; Racing NSW Betting Analyst, Mr Mitchell Reid; Stablehand Mr Oscar Fernandez and Mr Brideoake’s stable veterinarian Dr Valmardre.
The inquiry was adjourned to a date to be fixed to allow Stewards to consider the evidence.
