Stable Reports To Stewards - Gretna (Randwick, Saturday)
Racing NSW Stewards this morning gave permission for a blood sample to be taken from GRETNA (trainer Chris Waller) which is engaged to race at Royal Randwick on Saturday, 30th December 2017 in Race 9.
This followed advice from the stable that after the mare was transported from Queensland on Wednesday night, she had developed a mildly elevated temperature which has subsequently returned to normal.
The stable advised they will provide Racing NSW with the results of the blood analysis, and a further update will be issued later today.
