Reg Kemister’s green and yellow silks saluted on Heaven’s Above in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic but it is a far less lofty prize they are chasing in the Hillross Supernova Woonona Handicap at Kembla Grange on Tuesday.
Star Witness filly Burden Of Proof ($17 into $7.50 on TAB fixed odds) runs for Theresa Bateup in the two-year-old maiden and it was Heaven’s Above’s trainer Tim Martin that tipped Kemister into the $3000 filly.

“Tim does all Theresa's breaking-in and he rang me and said he was keeping 10 percent of this filly and that it might worth a throw at the stumps because she goes good,” Kemister said. “Theresa rents stables from me, so I asked if there was any chance of getting a bit of her and she said yes.
“She has told me she is trying to set it for the Scone race worth $100,000, she had Fleeting Stryke run third in it last year and wants to get a bit more prizemoney in the bank to make sure it gets in. She can certainly gallop but we are taking on all those big Sydney stable on Tuesday.”
Burden Of Proof started $26 when she ran into third behind Moss Trip on debut over the Kembla 1000m last month.
“That was a good start and we think she will be competitive again,” Kemister said. “It is good to be in a stable which is really going well."
Bateup also has debutante Taqueda ($21 into $16) in the maiden, while Fleeting Stryke ($6 to $6.50) runs in the TBC Distribution Benchmark 65 Handicap looking for her third win this preparation.
