Scarlet Cape To Undergo Vet Examination - Goulburn (Fri)

Racing NSW Stewards have questioned Trainer G Neale about Scarlet Cape (accepted for race 2 – Goulpro Class 2 Handicap 1000m) and the circumstances surrounding that horse not competing in a race or barrier trial since 3rd September 2015.

Mr Neale advised that the horse had not sustained any injuries that led to the extended spell.

He advised that Scarlet Cape has been in work in his Warwick Farm stable for 5 months and had competed in 5 jump outs and he is satisfied with the gelding’s condition leading into Friday’s event.

Scarlet Cape will be examined by Racing NSW veterinary staff upon arrival on course on Friday.
