Rosehill Gardens Racecourse Manager, Shaun Patterson has resigned from his position with the Australian Turf Club to take up a new role at an interstate Club.
Shaun has enjoyed 18 years experience in Sydney racing, starting with the Sydney Turf Club in 2007 and rising to the position of Rosehill Gardens Racecourse Manager in 2018.
With the Rosehill Gardens team, Shaun has been involved in 17 Golden Slipper preparations and has overseen the introduction of the Golden Eagle which has gained international recognition.
Australian Turf Club Head of Racing and Wagering, Nevesh Ramdhani said: “Shaun commenced at the former STC in 2007 as an apprentice in Sports Turf Management and since that time has built a great career.
“Shaun rose within the ranks of the Tracks and Gardens team to become Assistant Track Manager of Rosehill Gardens in April 2013.
“After five successful years as assistant, Shaun was promoted to Racecourse Manager and has served the Club with distinction, being well regarded within the industry and by his peers.
“The ATC thanks Shaun and wishes him every success as he embarks on another exciting opportunity in the racing industry." Shaun will finish in his current role on 24 April 2025.
