Racing And Rugby League Royalty Fight Against Brain Cancer

MANY SPORTING PERSONALITIES WILL TEAM UP ON FRIDAY 18th AUGUST AT ROYAL RANDWICK TO RAISE FUNDS FOR TREATING AND RESEARCHING BRAIN CANCER

NRL Chairman and Racing NSW boss Peter V’landys AM, will join a star-studded line-up of rugby league and racing personalities to raise funds for research and treatment to fight Brain Cancer at a special luncheon.

The luncheon will be held in the prestigious WINX Grandstand at Royal Randwick on Friday 18 August, the day prior to the running of the Group 1 WINX Stakes.

Joining V’landys among the star field of speakers will be two of rugby league’s most revered voices, coaching and commentating legend Phil ‘Gus’ Gould, along with Hall of Fame broadcaster Ray ‘Rabbits’ Warren.

They will be joined at the luncheon by a legend of racing and media, Kenny Callander.

Racing fans and punters will be well catered for ahead of Sydney’s Everest Spring Carnival with many of the Sport of Kings’ biggest names including Chris Waller, Annabel Neasham, John O’Shea and Bjorn Baker supplying the good oil.

Australia’s funniest ventriloquist Darren Carr will round out the afternoon and is sure to send guests home laughing well into the weekend, adding his touch to helping in this important medical battle.
