Punters Spoilt For Choice On Course This Autumn Carnival

There’s no better place to be during the Sydney Autumn Carnival and The Star Championships than on course and there’s a range of affordable options for racegoers regardless of your punting experience.

At Rosehill Gardens for Longines Golden Slipper Stakes Day this Saturday and Royal Randwick on Days 1 and 2 of The Star Championships the ‘Punters Packs’ provide value for money and a chance be part of the Punters Podium (see below).

For $55 on Golden Slipper and The Star Championships days (April 1 & 8) you receive entry to the course, two drinks, a $10 food voucher, a racebook and a share in the ATC Punters Podium. It's valued at $80.

On Stakes Day at Rosehill Gardens, Saturday 25 March, and All Aged Stakes Day at Royal Randwick on April 15 a $49 ticket is a great option that includes entry, two drinks and a $10 food voucher plus a racebook.

Both great packages are available through Ticketmaster.

The Punters Podium returns on Longines Golden Slipper Day and it’s always a great way to get involved without having to do all the work doing the form.

The Australian Turf Club partners Racing And Sports provides some of their top tipsters with the aim of multiplying the pool via their key wagering strategies and insights on Slipper Day and both days of The Star Championships.

It’s just $10 per share and tickets are available via Ticketmaster (either by purchasing a Punters Pack or GA+Punters Podium ticket) or on course at any TAB outlet. Tickets can’t be purchased outside the racecourse.

Across the next five Saturdays the Octagonal Club Tipping competition operates with daily prizes and a grand prize of a table in the next ATC Punters Club Challenge valued at $2800.

Registration for the Octagonal Club and the tipping competition can be done by googling ‘ATC Octagonal Club’ and following the links.

Finally, the ATC is enhancing on course information for punters in the form of a ‘Bookies Bet Alert’ that will appear on the big screen in the lead up to each race.

The big bets taken by on course bookmakers will appear on the 150m screen giving punters the opportunity to follow the money on a fancied horse.

Your race ticket includes travel on trains, buses, light rail and ferries. Simply show your ticket, proof of purchase or ATC membership to transport staff when boarding services.

And of course there's plenty of post-race entertainment with PNAU performing a DJ Set after the last on Golden Slipper Day and The Star Championships Day 1.
