Punter's Intelligence Wrap - Rosehill 20th January

Willaidow made it four wins in a row, and he went to a new level at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday when taking out the Midway Handicap (1200m).

The gelding did it on both ends, and Punter's Intelligence recorded his overall time had merit relative to the day.

He clocked 1:09.35, approximately 1.5 lengths quicker than the Benchmark 88 event over 1200m.

The five-year-old sat outside the leader at a genuine tempo and kept fighting to the line to score. Further, even after absorbing that early pressure, he still recorded 11.46 for his final 200m.

He can progress through the grades with his positive race pattern.

Gently Rolled started a rock-solid favourite and ran on strongly into second.

The mare was run to suit, but she hit the line hard and ran one of the fastest final 400m sectionals of the meeting in 21.89.

Everything about her sectional profiles suggests she can only step off this performance and will take some beating with natural improvement in a similar grade next start.

Field Wiri is ready to peak third-up and ran a slick 600m-200m split in 21.82.

Super Bright must improve her barrier manners but ran the meeting's seventh fastest final 600m in 33.11.

Our Kobision was backed as if unbeatable in the TAB Handicap (1100m), and he did it with ease to score.

The four-year-old had every chance throughout transit and built through his gears strongly, clocking the fastest final 200m split of the meeting in 10.85. Additionally, that was a career peak figure, and he can progress through the grades.

Tintookie backed up her first-up performance, and her run had sectional strength. She ran the fastest last 600m split of the meeting in 32.77 and maintained a solid finishing speed to the line.

Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott produced another two-year-old winner with Fully Lit running his rivals ragged in the Ned Australian Whiskey Handicap (1100m).

The colt showed sustained speed throughout running the first 500m in 29.69 and kept responding under pressure. He ran the race equal second-fastest final 200m in 11.31.

Godolphin galloper Tartaglia had too much to do and exerted all his energy between the 800m-200m holding a long-sustained sprint. He ran 33.00 for that section.

Bosustow will benefit from the race experience and recorded the fastest final 200m sectional of the race in 11.27.

A quick mention of Caballus, who bolted in to win the Benchmark 72 event over 1100m and did it in style.

He was well-ridden and always in control but accelerated hard when Wallenda loomed outside him.

The three-year-old went through the line full of energy and clocked the meeting's fourth-fastest final 200m in 11.16.

He is a progressive, and a rise in trip will pose no issue.

Fastest last 600m: Tintookie 32.77
