Punter's Intelligence Wrap - Rosehill 1st July

Jockey Kerrin McEvoy produced another masterful ride when piloting Waverider Buoy in the Benchmark 72 event over 1100m, and the filly produced a powerful finish to score.

The Chris Waller trained galloper was held-up at a critical stage in the straight, but once a gap appeared, she accelerated hard and savaged the line.

Punter's Intelligence recorded she clocked the meeting's second fastest final 200m in 10.92 and will be suited up in distance next start.

Hi Duabi was brave in defeat after leading at a solid tempo and beat the rest easily.

To put that into perspective, his first 500m in 29.88 was approximately 1.5 lengths faster than the TAB Highway (1100m).

Tintookie was a victim of circumstances again and had too much to do.

The Brad Widdup trained galloper got into a tricky spot throughout transit and had to make a long-wide, sustained run.

Further, she clocked the meeting's fastest final 600m/400m/200m splits of the entire meeting in 33.12/21.62/10.89.

She is ready to peak third-up over more ground with a more favourable race setup.

Attractable made it back-to-back wins when saluting in the Benchmark 88 over 1500m.

The race was run at a farcical tempo, with leader Zoushack running the first 900m in 56.18.

That section was approximately 8-8.5 lengths slower than the Benchmark 72 won by Resonator. Moreover, those settling worse than midfield were mathematically out of the race.

The main talking point was Vienna Princess, who was heavily backed and should've won.

The three-year-old was blocked for a run the whole straight and never got a crack at them.

Super Pursuit is ready to peak third-up, and his ratings/sectional profile supports this.

He flashed home, running one of the quickest final 200m sectionals of the meeting in 11.15.

The Richard Collett gelding has improved in his second Australian prep and has form lines around Group 1 winners Think About It and Mariamia.

Import Chorlton Lane was impressive in his Australian debut and transferred his overseas synthetic form to turf.

The lightly raced galloper wasn't suited to the race shape but overcame that with a strong turn of the foot.

Additionally, although winning by a narrow margin, he clocked the meeting's third-quickest final 200m in 11.05.

Armor Victorious was resuming, and he has returned well, running the eighth-fastest final furlong in 11.28.

Semana bolted in to score in the Benchamrk 78 event over 1400m. The consistent filly did it on both ends leading at a genuine tempo and running an overall time of 1:22.20.

It's worth mentioning now equal Kosciuszko favourite Mogo Magic, who absorbed the early pressure and responded when asked for a superior effort to win the TAB Highway (1100m).

He put his rivals away in a matter of strides running 11.09 between the 400m-200 and held off the late challengers.

Tags was first-up, had too much to do and stormed home to run the fourth fastest final 600m meeting splits in 33.19.

Fastest last 600m: Tintookie 32.90
