Please be advised that due to the forecast hot temperatures predicted for the following meetings over the coming weekend the following hot weather protocols have been implemented by Racing NSW Stewards.
Sunday, 12 February 2017 WYONG: Predicted Temperature 36 Degrees - Level 2 Heat Policy Invoked GRAFTON: Postponed to Monday 13th February
For all level 2 meetings in addition to standard protocols the following processes will be implemented: - Pre-parade will be shortened - Ice Water Machines and extra hoses located in mounting enclosure and horse stall area. - Additional veterinary staff to assist - Stewards will consider applications from jockeys to ride ½ kg overweight should they require to take on fluids in order to rehydrate.
