9. Ocean Joy has shown promise in her two career starts, both over this track and distance. She set the pace on debut, finishing third after being caught late and delivering a similar on-pace effort next time out with the same result. Trial win in preparation suggests she’s ready to tackle this familiar challenge again. 7. Bent As Hell has gone close twice over this track and distance combination. While he failed to fire last start, his placing and strong effort in the prior race suggest he’s capable of bouncing back here. 2. Power Spark lines up on his home track and has shown promise in his two starts so far, including a placing last start at Coffs Harbor. Should be fitter second up and ready to improve. 5. Predicting makes his debut after two solid trials in preparation. With the benefit of barrier one, he’s one to keep an eye on.

4. My Greek God has been close, placing in three of his four starts. His last effort at Canberra was impressive, running home strongly and challenging late to narrowly miss out. Freshened, dropping back in distance and with a trial win in preparation, he’s primed to be a strong contender here. 5. Piccaderro has been consistent, placing third in all three starts so far. Should be fitter third up and looks set to benefit from the rise in distance. 8. Acknowledged impressed on debut for the Chris Waller stable, finishing runner-up at Kembla Grange behind a standout winner. Ran home strongly and can make an impact second up. 11. Dolce Dior has shown plenty of promise in two starts, finishing runner-up at Kembla Grange last time out. Ready to compete again.

1. Aix En Provence enters off the back of an impressive showing at Wyong, running home strongly for second despite being held up at a crucial moment on the turn. Gets another opportunity here and is one to watch. 5. Mizella won her last showing here with an impressive performance demonstrating a pacey turn of foot late in the race to storm from the back. He’ll look to roll off that performance going into this one and give a repeat showing here. 6. Starphistocated started her career impressively, winning her maiden at Wyong, but struggled to make an impact in her most recent outing at Kembla Grange. Gets the favorable draw and does her best work on firm ground. 2. Navios has been running consistently and is starting to find his rhythm. Gave a fair effort first up at Beaumont and, fitter second up, looks ready to improve. Has won second up previously.

Faces a tougher challenge here, but she’s proven and looks ready to step up. One of the more tested horses in this field. 19. Triskele showed sharp improvement last start at Kembla Grange with a runner-up finish after struggling in his initial runs. Faces an easier field here with key scratchings and can replicate that effort. 7. Forever Fortune, from the Chris Waller stables, didn’t show much in his first campaign but resumes here after a trial second and benefits from a favorable draw. Capable of making an impact in this field. 4. Great Brazen has shown promise in preparation, finishing second in both trials and looks ready for a strong debut.

He ran on strongly from a wide position last start in a tough race and should be right in the mix again. 3. 12. Cassie’s Lad is hitting his stride in most recent performances since returning from his last spell, with a win and two placings in his last three starts. Narrowly missed in a photo finish at Port Macquarie last start. Race fit with a quick one-week turnaround, he’s well-positioned to make an impact here. 1. Dulcet started strong in his initial runs but has struggled in recent outings. Appears better suited to longer distances and returns to a more favorable trip here where he can bounce back. 7. Magic Pharoah charged home impressively to win his last start at Muswellbrook. He’ll aim to carry that momentum into this race and can be a strong contender again. 3. Uncle Harry does his best work at his home track and will look to leverage that advantage here.

After Match returns from a spell, having won first up at Hawkesbury in his previous campaign. Showed strong form with two wins and two placings from five starts and finished runner-up in a trial leading into this. Ready to fire fresh. 5. Shuri resumes on her home track, where she’s had past success, including a win over 1500m in her initial campaign. Runner-up in two of her last three runs here before the spell, she’s one to watch. 6. Master Riley has delivered his best performances over this track and distance, including a win and a placing this campaign. Patchy form elsewhere, but track success suggests he can feature here. 1.
