Race 1 3YO MAIDEN HCP (1150m): |

The maidens get us underway. Randwick gelding 1. Destiny's Sun returns off a one-off debut run in heavy ground last winter, and two trials for good juvenile stable. Latest trial on the synthetic, covered some early ground circling to the front before held together through the line. Gets a 2kg claim.
Dangers: Wyong gelding 2. Atherton has had a checkered start to his career over three runs stretching back to last April, but since sticking on okay after leading first-up a month ago, loved the way he pushed through to win a recent trial. Looks ready now to show true potential. Godolphin filly 5. Kibibi has hit the line nicely in two runs back from a lengthy spell; while debutant stablemate filly 4. Static (Shooting To Win x Electric Charge by Charge Forward) was sound in that same trial behind Destiny's Son, and draws a good gate.
How to play it: Destiny's Sun each way and quinella 1 and 2. Odds and Evens (First 2): Split
Race 2 2YO MAIDEN PLATE (1300m): |

The babies get their turn over a slightly longer trip. Godolphin-trained 9. Thermosphere has made a good impression in two runs hitting the line well. Powerful type by the former Golden Rose winner Exosphere, and looks even better suited on the bigger track.
Dangers: Rosehill colt 3. Cultural Amnesia didn't really attack the line on debut in that same race at the Farm at bigger odds, but can also improve, although draw is tricky.
How to play it: Thermosphere to win. Odds and Evens: Split.

Not a lot of depth in this one which augurs well for the Gerald Ryan-trained gelding 5. Favra who can break through second-up. Rattled home late resuming at Warwick Farm, and out to this trip on a bigger track is ideal.
Dangers: Watch the market on Waterhouse-Bott 3YO gelding 6. Gogol who debuts in blinkers, and closed off well in two runs either side of New Year before sharpened up with two trials. Godolphin filly 9. Chanting has also been ticking over at the trials since finishing hard at Wyong seven weeks ago.
How to play it: Favra to win and quinella 5 and 6. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 4 F & M CLASS 1 HCP (1350m): |

Tricky small field, but keen on 3YO Rosehill filly 3. Buba resuming over this distance. Hasn't publicly trialled, but came to hand fairly sharply in first prep, charging over the top to win second-up in the heavy at Kembla. Drawn to get a good trail, and is by a former Group 1 Secretariat Stakes and Cox Plate winner.
Dangers: Progressive 3YO filly 2. Lady Tavista got right under the market's guard first up here on the main track zooming home to win her maiden despite blowing in the market, but that's not uncommon for the Brad Widdup stable which consistently produces them fresh. Bit tougher here, and up 4kg in weight. Improving Warwick Farm mare 1. Singing River can go close second-up over more ground after working home okay resuming in a stronger race. Weighted to her best, but rider takes 2kg off. Include 3YO Randwick filly 5. Candy Bar who broke through as a short-priced favourite second-up at Muswellbrook before finishing off okay in a handy BM 64 at Gosford.
How to play it: Buba to win and box first four 2,3/1,2,3/1,2,3,5/1,2,3,5. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 5 MAIDEN HCP (1250m): |

Keen on Randwick-trained gelding 3. Devan resuming off two nice trials, and draws to get a charmed run behind the speed.
Dangers: Warwick Farm filly 11. Tears Are Falling can peak after three runs back, with the blinkers going on, and a 2kg claim.
How to play it: Devan to win and quinella 3 and 11. Odds and Evens: Odds
Race 6 C, G & E CLASS 1 HCP (1350m): |

Intriguing yet thin race. In typical fashion, 4YO Kembla gelding 1. Canzonet will be smothered away back in the field and be saved for one final charge fourth-up. Powered home for a dominant win as a hot favourite at Wyong second-up before doing best work late again in a BM 64 at Gosford. Has shown a liking for rain-affected ground.
Dangers: Hawkesbury 4YO gelding 2. Reiby's Regent produced two solid closing runs back from a spell this grade before outclassed in a much deeper Group 3 at Randwick. Query, though, in the ground and back up in weight from the widest barrier.
How to play it: Canzonet to win. Odds and Evens: Split
Canzonet runs fifth at Gosford on February 15

Now for the stayers, and there are plenty of chances. Honest 6YO Warwick Farm mare 8. Joe's Joy continues to find the line, running three second placings in her last four. Hit the line late in the heavy in a BM 74 at Warwick Farm, and draws to get lovely cover on the minimum weight. Way better than her record suggests, and this is reward time.
Dangers: Progressive 4YO Randwick mare 5. Etheridge produced the best win of her career in that same heavy rating contest at Warwick Farm. Still looks well treated on 56kg from the inside gate, although won't get the wet track advantage this time. Warwick Farm 4YO stallion and former UK stayer 2. Corncrake is crying out for this trip after working home fairly in two runs here off a six month spell. Prior to heading Down Under, won three straight back in the Old Dart. Drawn wide, but will be allowed to settle back on a bigger and more suitable track. Rosehill gelding 10. Toulouse has been just fair in three BM 70 runs this prep, but much better suited out to this trip.
How to play it: Joe's Joy each way and box trifecta 2,5,8,10. Odds and Evens: Split

Race has changed complexion. Like 4YO Wyong gelding 2. Arrogante who has trialled well on this track, normally fires early in the prep, and has a sound wet track record.
Dangers: Watch the betting on unbeaten Warwick Farm gelding 5. Capri Lane who won both starts in the country last spring, and has had two trials.
How to play it: Arrogante to win. Odds and Evens: Split.
