Track Good 4/Soft 5 & rail out 9m from 1100m to WP and out 6m the remainder, so tricky read and likely on or near the speed early before trending wider

The girls gets us underway. Resuming filly 1. Quintessa from the Mark Newnham yard is back for a second prep off a smart trial win, and looks a banker here having acquitted herself well in much deeper races than this through first prep.
Dangers: Watch the market on another first-up filly 5. Zonestar after a debut failure last winter, and has had two trials for form stable; while Kembla mare 8. Girl You Want is best of the rest second-up.
How to play it: Quintessa to win and trifecta 1/5/8. Odds and Evens (First 2): Odds

Strong field for this class. Progressive 3YO Godolphin filly 2. Amitto has come back well this prep powering home to win her maiden first-up here before beating all bar smart Cafe Royal who then suffered her first defeat by an eyelash at Newcastle on Saturday. Will drift back from a wide gate, but looks reasonably well treated on 58kg.
Dangers: Emerging filly 4. Icebath was impressive landing her maiden first-up on the Beaumont track, and has more than enough talent to measure up here rising in trip. Randwick 5YO mare 3. Wild Impact resumes off a nine month break, but has been fitted with two forward trials, although latest suggested she may need the run. Has only had three starts since charging home to win on debut over a mile in the spring of 2018. Keep track of the betting on lightly-raced Goulburn filly 9. Underground Music who was a dominant maiden winner at Wagga, and drops 3kg for this tougher test.
How to play it: Amitto to win and quinella 2 and 4. Odds and Evens: Evens

Now the boys' edition of that opening race, and there are plenty of hopes. Keen on resuming 3YO gelding 6. Well Known from the Waterhouse-Bott stable who draws the inside, and looked good winning the second of two trials over 1250m.
Dangers: Well bred 3YO Randwick gelding 2. All Time Legend disappointed on debut at Warwick Farm when hard in the market, but can rebound off a smart trial. Goes up 2kg, though, and while entitled to run favourite, looks under the odds. Also resuming off two quiet trials, with a 2kg claim, UK-bred Randwick colt 1. Significance can work into the finish over this trip; while 3YO's 3. Highmaster second-up, and 12. Rocketing To Win third-up, should both be included in wider exotics.
How to play it: Well Known each way and trifecta 1,2,6/1,2,6/1,2,3,6,12. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 4 CLASS 2 HCP (1200m): |

Competitive affair. Consistent 3YO Godolphin gelding 2. Jetski resumes off two quiet trials, and should come to hand quickly. Won two straight in the spring before finishing hard in consecutive metro BM 70s.
Dangers: Talented Warwick Farm colt 3. Texas Forever can rebound back on firmer footing after dropping out in the heavy against stronger at Canterbury. Likes to sit on-speed, and both career wins have come on Good tracks leading all the way. Final half furlong down the long straight is the query; while 4YO Moruya mare 8. Fantini is best of the rest after flying home to win her maiden at second start, and drops 4.5kg for this significant step up in grade.
How to play it: Jetski to win. Odds and Evens: Split.

Back to the maidens at set weights, and looks a race in two. Leaning to 4YO 2. Go For Gold who resumes, with a 2kg claim, for the Les Bridge stable at Randwick, and was strong through the line in a recent trial. Did his best work late as a heavily-backed favourite in spring returning off a year-long break, and given time is ready now to show his best.
Dangers: Local 5YO 3. Pioneer is the obvious threat after a tidy first-up run, and sharpened further in a Warwick Farm trial. Draws a soft gate, and rider is on a good run. Be surprised if anything else wins, although watch the market on Godolphin filly and reserve runner 14. Farnese if she gains a start.
How to play it: Go For Gold to win. Odds and Evens: Split.
Go For Gold runs third in a Randwick trial on February 6
Race 6 BM 64 HCP (1000m): |

Wide open sprint, with a stack of value headed by still lightly raced 4YO Wyong mare 4. Bare Naked Lady resuming with a handy fresh record, and trialled quietly behind smart Trumbull who was very good winning first-up at Randwick on Saturday.
Dangers: Godolphin filly and former Victorian-based 9. Smitten also returns off a lengthy break via two forward metro trials, but this is first time on a firm surface. Rosehill 4YO gelding 7. Great Affair never got warm resuming off a long break on the Kensington track when run off his feet, but this is a drop in grade, and only win so far came second-up in a strong Gosford maiden last autumn. Honest 5YO home track gelding 1. Twirling Moss has been mixing it in tougher metro grade since a BM 83 win at Moruya just before Xmas. Won't want to get too far back, but rookie rider's 4kg claim gets him right back in the race; while Rosehill filly 10. Vox Populi held her ground resuming at Muswellbrook, and despite a 4kg drop in weight, will need to find a bit more in this company.
How to play it: Bare Naked Lady each way and trifecta 4,7,9/1,4,7,9/1,4,7,9,10. Odds and Evens: Split
Race 7 BM 64 HCP (1600m): |

Same grade up to the mile for a challenging finish. Randwick 3YO gelding 5. Sciconic disappointed in a Class 2 second-up at Newcastle when heavily backed. Draws the paint here, and has more than enough ability to hit back having competed in Group 1 3YO company during spring.
Dangers: Progressive 3YO Randwick gelding 1. Baracus was strong as an ox from the front in a Class 1 at Canberra, but this is tougher up a little in trip and drawn wider. Rosehill 3YO filly 7. Living Rocks flopped on the heavy second-up at Warwick Farm, but will appreciate being back on firmer ground, and this is more to her liking; while Warwick Farm gelding 4. Doctor Manhattan had a charmed run in that same Class 2 at Newcastle before finishing over the top, but will find this tougher.
How to play it: Sciconic to win. Odds and Evens: Odds
