Who Shot Thebarman (NZ) will also be asked to carry 57.0kg this year. He ran a gallant 2nd in the 2017 Group 1 Sydney Cup (3200m) carrying 57.0kg prior to going for a spell.

Last year’s 2nd placegetter Antonio Giuseppe (NZ) has received 54.5kg. He carried the limit in 2016, however this edition is 1.5kg weaker than the 2016 edition.
