Melody Belle – Passed Suitable to Race

Racing NSW General Manager of Veterinary Services Dr Toby Koenig has received the results of a blood test taken from Melody Belle which has identified significant improvement following the mare tying up after a track gallop on Wednesday 31 March 2021. Trainer Mr Jamie Richards has advised the mare has responded well to treatment and has been exercised by swimming since Wednesday without displaying any signs of tying up. Dr Koenig has advised that having regard to the blood results and advice from Mr Richards, Melody Belle is suitable to race in tomorrow’s Tancred Stakes.
