As Australia Day celebrations draw near, Hawkesbury Race Club is gearing up for McFun Day next Wednesday 25th January, hosting a party of their own on Australia Day eve, to help support sick children and their families.
In exchange for a gold coin donation raising funds for The Ronald McDonald House Westmead and Nepean Family Room, each patron will receive a complimentary food voucher for any McDonald’s outlet in the Hawkesbury region.
Presented by the McDonald’s Garton Group and proudly supported by local Hawkesbury businesses including Eather Group, Richmond Marketplace, and Richmond Club, hospitality and entertainment on the inaugural day features a Food Truck precinct with a variety of culinary delights from all corners of the globe; a sumptuous three-course corporate luncheon alongside the home straight in the Ted McCabe Room, while a Kids’ Corner on the main lawn with rides, face painting and activities take centre stage for the little ones.
Hawkesbury Race Club CEO Greg Rudolph said all gold coin donations, raffles and auctions on the day will be raising funds directly for The Ronald McDonald House Westmead and Nepean Family Room, through the work of the McDonalds Garton Group.
“We are proud to support key community events and programs and to assist the McDonald’s Garton Group through this fantastic initiative."
