Race 1 - 2:20PM DRINKWISE PLATE (1000 METRES) |

2. Bold Bidder did some work before kicking away to win his latest trial in good style at Warwick Farm earlier this month. Imagine he has the option to lead or trail from barrier one and is sure to give a good account on debut.
Dangers: 7. Dare To Fly looked the part leading all the win in her second trial at Rosehill last week after being conservatively ridden in her first hitout. Worth keeping safe on debut. 3. Everybody Rise didn’t have the best of runs when a beaten favourite at Wyong two weeks ago, getting back in a slowly run race and working home into third. Has been thereabouts and gets another chance. 6. Blanc De Noir has finished third in all three starts, every chance last time but back to 1000m and blinkers on she can’t be left out of the chances.
How to play it: Bold Bidder WIN ($2.25 TAB Fixed Odds).
Bold Bidder wins a Warwick Farm trial on January 3
Race 2 - 2:55PM RANVET PLATE (1150 METRES) |

7. Our Little Star is due for a change of luck, had a tough run wide two back when a beaten favourite at Wyong then shuffled back and worked home nicely in a close third at Warwick Farm last week. Very close to a win and she’s a big chance.
Dangers: 10. Rach debuted at Canterbury on New Year’s Day and her finishing place and margin are misleading as she was badly chopped out when going for a run in the straight. She’d have been in the finish somewhere so must be included here. 2. Koios showed some promise with placings at both starts back in September. Super impressive in second trial at Newcastle recently, tricky draw but stays under notice. 5. Aldezor worked home quite well in behind them in his second trial. Market a guide but no surprise to see him show up on debut.
How to play it: Our Little Star WIN ($4.00 TAB Fixed Odds).
Our Little Star runs third at Warwick Farm on January 8
Race 3 - 3:30PM TAB PLATE (1400 METRES) |

2. Blue Vein had coming winner written all over him as he ran on from well back first-up at Randwick on Boxing Day into a close third. Wasn’t easy to make ground that day so his effort was excellent. Draws ideally and should be hard to beat.
Dangers: 4. Cold Brew wasn’t fancied in betting at his second start but attacked the line in what might be a strong maiden from Canterbury on New Year’s Day into second place. Goes to 1400m now and commands some respect. 6. Omnic gets the blinkers on after leading and just failing to hold out Altair I Am at Randwick up to a mile. Going well without winning and is one of the chances. 5. Delrico is another that’s collected a number of minor placings and he led when run down by Endure, with Blue Vein in third, at Randwick second-up. Has to be included.
How to play it: Blue Vein WIN ($1.90 TAB Fixed Odds).
Blue Vein runs third at Randwick on December 26
Race 4 - 4:05PM HEADWATER @ VINERY STUD HANDICAP (1550 METRES) |
---|
1. Toes In The Water was run down by a handy one at Kembla then took on open company when placed in the Moruya Cup as favourite. Big class drop back to a 64 and sure to be in this for a long way from that inside barrier.
Dangers: 7. Rybakina contested a very strong maiden at Canterbury then stepped up in trip and proved too strong collecting her maiden win at Kembla a couple of weeks ago. Extra ground so issues and she’s one of the chances. 4. Endure was a drifter in betting at second start but still proved too good scoring by half a length at Randwick, beating Delrico and Blue Vein. Has to back that up now but could be up to it. 6. She’s Got Veuve was safely held by the first two but ran on into third at Canterbury when out to 1900m on New Year’s Day. Honest enough and she’s an each-way chance.
How to play it: Toes In The Water EACH-WAY ($4.80 TAB Fixed Odds).
Toes In the Water runs third in the Moruya Cup on January 6
Race 5 - 4:40PM VICTOR LUDORUM FIRST YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1100 METRES) |

11. Manaajem couldn’t have been more impressive at her debut at Wyong a couple of weeks ago, running up to some good support in the betting. Has to take the next step now but she does looks smart and is the one to beat.
Dangers: 6. Fly Scotty Fly pounced on the lead and was too nippy scoring an all the way win at Wyong at the same meeting. Imagine he uses that inside gate to lead again and could take some running down. 12. Alliri has improved with each start and ran right up to her $1.90 starting price to win comfortably at Newcastle at her fourth attempt. Another lightly raced type on the up and while back 100m is in the mix. 10. Altercation won a Class 1 at Muswellbrook in October then in this grade at Randwick she measured right up when runner-up on Boxing Day. Each-way claims again.
How to play it: Manaajem WIN ($2.10 TAB Fixed Odds).
Manaajem wins at Wyong on December 31
Race 6 - 5:15PM ASAHI SUPER DRY HANDICAP (1800 METRES) |

9. Rapbidash needs a few things to go her way to win but she’s more than capable on her day. Bit disappointing two back when in the market then last on the turn and dashed home for fifth in BM78 grade at Randwick. Down in class, drawn well and is an each-way hope.
Dangers: 6. Frankly Elegant is fitter for two runs back where she’s found one better on both occasions. Won over this track and distance on a heavy track back in May and has to be respected. 1. Fortune has been solid in two runs this time in and comes through the same race as Rapbidash when a close third. Chance if he can hold his form now. 13. Smart Legend always travelled well and converted with a popular win at Canterbury on New Year’s Day. Could go on with it now.
How to play it: Rapbidash EACH-WAY ($10 TAB Fixed Odds).
Rapbidash runs fifth at Randwick on December 28
Race 7 - 5:50PM CAPTIVANT @ KIA ORA HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |
---|
12. The Replicant isn’t a regular winner but he’s rarely too far away and with a bit of pressure likely up front here he may get last call. Might not have been suited on the inside last week at Warwick Farm but still ran honestly and is always an each-way prospect.
Dangers: 5. Rematch has a consistent record and resumes after a placing at Canterbury up to 1900m, that followed a tough heavy track Highway win. He’ll run well fresh. 1. Huesca led and boxed on pretty well to hold second behind Sly Boots second-up a month ago. Will go forward again, won only attempt here, and can give a sight. 7. Piraeus has been freshened up since failing out to 2000m in a Midway at the end of November. Ran well at this trip second-up and is sure to be running on at the finish.
How to play it: The Replicant EACH-WAY ($7.00 TAB Fixed Odds).
The Replicant runs fourth at Warwick Farm on January 8
