Find out what the jockeys made of their two-year-old mounts after the $160,000 G3 Widden Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill.
Rachel King (Queen Of The Ball): “She has a fantastic attitude. She is very fast out of the gates. So quick to come straight back underneath you, very professional and I got it easy in the middle sections and when she was able to give a good kick at the top of the straight, it was going to take a good one to run her down.”
"She has done everything right so far and if she can just keep doing that, I don’t see any reason why she can’t keep stepping up. The team have done a fantastic job, just taking their time with her and it has definitely paid dividends.”
Queen Of The Ball never looked like losing!
Sam Clipperton (Ebhaar): “Pulled too hard. Disappointing.”
James McDonald (Ojai): “Doing a good job.”
Chad Schofield (Dame Cartland): “She ran really well. Had a good run in transit. Came off the leader’s back and was solid to the line.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Drisana): “Just came a bit rough out of the gates. Hope she pulls up sound.”
Tommy Berry (Mumbai Jewel): “Had a tough run.”
Tim Clark (Pantonario): “Good honest performance from her.”
Brock Ryan (Revolutionary Miss): “Ran really well again. Probably just looking for the 1200m.”
Kathy O'Hara (Smart Vengeance): “Probably just looking for a bit of a break at the moment.”
Regan Bayliss (Street Smarts): “Nice filly but just not ready yet.”
