Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Darley Todman Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
Nash Rawiller (Tentyris): “Good old Nash road hasn't let me down again.
“He's a beautiful colt, look he's very unassuming, he just sort of does what he has to and look as the race developed approaching the 250m, it felt like a track gallop for him winning the race, the way he started to chime into it.
“Obviously when the other Melbourne horse drifted out in front of him it made it a little bit more awkward, but I loved his tenacity and the way he hit the line.”

James McDonald (Wodeton): “Good run. He will improve.”
Tyler Schiller (Nepotism): “Massive debut. He jumped OK, his muster probably wasn’t there. He will probably appreciate the experience. He got a little bit held up in the straight. I thought he was strong late.”
Tim Clark (North England): “He ran really well. Hadn’t had a run for a while. Just that last little bit he peaked. He will be much improved for the run.”
Jordan Childs (Tycoon Star): “Very happy with that effort. We had a nice run throughout. Presented but just started to get a bit lost the last 200m looking for the Melbourne way. That run will hold him in good stead going to the Slipper.”
Adam Hyeronimus (Beiwacht): “Probably didn’t see it in the race but I do think his manners have improved pre-race, behind the gates and the first 100m. Just being exposed he wanted to get running. That was the finish in the last 150m. He will bounce back.”
Zac Lloyd (Aleppo Pine): “He is a lovely colt. Still learning mentally. Got held up in a momentum suited race. He will take benefit from that.”
Tommy Berry (Pallaton): “Just with the pressure outside him, he hadn’t been in that position before and half just got running for a good couple of furlongs. You can’t do that in these races.”
Jason Collett (Buffalo): “He is still doing quite a few things wrong. Has got the ability there but is probably not executing it correctly at the moment which makes a difference.”
Chad Schofield (Banknote Hustler): “I have a bit of time for him. He is not as sharp as these Slipper horses. I think in time over a bit further he will be nice.”
