Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $2,000,000 The Ingham (1600m) at Royal Randwick.
Tim Clark (Robusto): “He jumped great, sort of probably put him a bit closer than maybe expected, but he was happy being there. I wasn't going to take that away from him. Obviously following the right horses, it was just a matter of being patient on him.
“I didn’t want to expose him too soon. But the leader I’mintowin and Gringotts just weren’t quite taking me far enough, the gap came and he dashed through really well and pinned his ears back late. Great to win this race.
“He was fantastic. He's been racing really well without a great deal of luck but today he had the right barrier and made every use of it. He got the right run and executed really well. He gave me a great turn of foot when I asked him to go and he wanted it late. Being held up and getting that late split suited him and he really attacked the line.”

Blaike McDougall (Steparty): “He hit the front a bit too early and despite having plenty of runs, he's still a bit new in the head and he didn't put the race to bed like I'd hoped he would.”
Rachel King (Encap): “Another super run. He’s a model of consistency this horse.”
Nash Rawiller (Private Eye): “Very proud of his effort. Nice genuinely run race. He did all the donkey work there in behind them. Went down trying his best.”
Tommy Berry (Gringotts): “He wasn’t 100% today. Travelled really well but as soon as he came off the bit I knew there was something not right about him. See how he pulls up but I’d be surprised if something doesn’t come out of it.”
Tyler Schiller (Port Lockroy): “Probably wasn’t suited by the inside draw. He didn’t jump as well as I was hoping and just got buried a long way back.”
Josh Parr (Rustic Steel): “He is in great form. Probably suggest he was a little unlucky today.”
Harry Davies (Mighty Ulysses): “Didn’t really relax and obviously gave away a lot of ground at the start.”
Dylan Browne McMonagle (New Energy): “Ran super. I think he would have been placed if I didn’t get into any trouble in the straight. Had to snatch up at a bad time. He got to the line well.”
Billy Loughnane (Lion's Roar): “A bad draw cost him. Had to use up a lot of petrol early. Cost him late on.”
Chad Schofield (Lekvarte): “Very stiff task from the draw. We found the rail and she hit the line very well. Wasn’t beaten far.”
Reece Jones (Osipenko): “Super run. Had to go a long way back from the bad draw. Ran through the middle of them really well. Attacked the line strongly.”
Regan Bayliss (Waterford): “He was OK.”
Blake Spriggs (Suparazi): “Presented beautifully. Probably come to the end of it.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Xidaki): “Just didn’t settle well enough. He ran well though.”
Zac Lloyd (Coastwatch): “Really nice run. Barrier one really helped me, flowed into the race nicely. Just not much luck up the straight but ran well.”
Jason Collett (Poison Chalice): “Unlucky. Squeezed up late. Wasn’t able to get my chance.”
Jay Ford (Estadio Mestalla): “Come to the end of his prep.”
Zac Wadick (Spangler): “I thought he did really well. He hasn’t had the perfect preparation going into today. He’s exceeded expectations I thought. Ran through the line really well.”
Winona Costin (I'mintowin): “He was just disappointing.”
