Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $200,000 Elite Sand & Soil Skyline Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
Christian Reith (Promitto): “I won on this horse at Newcastle and from the moment then I knew he was a nice horse. I worked him on Tuesday morning and I thought he’d be very hard to beat today.
“He just gives me the feel of a very nice horse, they’ve got to have a good head on their shoulders, good length about them - he has all those characteristics about him. I was very confident coming here today.
“I definitely think he is a top class horse. Obviously this is his first prep and only his second start but everything he shows you, and the way he feels underneath you, you know he has top class written all over him.”

Tim Clark (Rise Of The Masses): “Very courageous effort from him. He’s going well.”
Jason Collett (Jemeldi): “Stuck on tough.”
Keagan Latham (El Padrino): “I was really happy with his run. He does hit a little flat spot like he did last start which didn’t help in the conditions but a really good run.”
Hugh Bowman (Sandpaper): “Unfortunately he didn’t handle the heavy ground today.”
Tom Sherry (Fire And Ice): “Just didn’t handle the conditions today. Watch him next preparation.”
William Pike (Man In The Mirror): “Nice run.”
Kathy O'Hara (One Destiny): “Didn’t handle the going.”
Brenton Avdulla (Brosnan): “Really nice horse. I like him a lot. It was a fraction too early for him. The ground was a bit deep but he closed off well. I’m sure he’s got some nice wins in him.”
Sam Clipperton (Nolan): “Actually very honest considering he hated the ground.”
Josh Parr (Great Siege): “The big fella sunk.”
Nash Rawiller (Peace Officer): “Just couldn’t lengthen stride in that ground.”
