Another two-year-old race, another Godolphin youngster puts their hand up as a Golden Slipper chance. This time it's Microphone.
Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 Schweppes Skyline Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
James McDonald (Microphone): “He’s a beauty. He’s got a big motor and he’s such a pleasure to ride. He jumps well, puts himself in the race, relaxes, and he’s got a great turn of foot.”
“Onwards to the Slipper. Obviously James has got a very strong hand in the race. The way he is coming on and he acts, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. There was suspects of him running a strong six furlongs but he has just knocked that on the head.”

Kerrin McEvoy (Cosmic Force): “It was a good effort. He set it up for the winner but he has run really well.”
Josh Parr (Castelvecchio): “Third run at the 1200m might have just found him out. He was first off the bit and it was a big task ahead of him 400m from home.”
Hugh Bowman (Accession): “He ran his race. I was really happy with him. He’s just not quite up to the class of those better colts at this stage.”
Tim Clark (Sun Patch): “Ran well. It was his second start in a race and at that grade, he is a nice horse in the making.”
Sam Clipperton (Fiery Red): “Not up to them.”
