Find out what the beaten jockeys made of their runs in the Group Two Silver Shadow Stakes at Randwick.
Kerrin McEvoy (Formality): “(Alizee) got on level terms but I always had a little bit of a margin. My filly has performed at a high level as a two-year-old, so it’s good to see them come back winning.”
Blake Shinn (One More Honey): “Nice first up run.”
Tye Angland (Champagne Cuddles): “The winner just had a nice time out in front and ran home in quick time, but she attacked the line well late.”
Brenton Avdulla (Villa Carlotta): “I would have liked to see her do a bit more, if she’s going to be at the level she’s probably got to get over ground.”
Glyn Schofield (Alizee): “She raced well, seemed to get her head in front at the right time, but the last 50m the winner just fought back a big stronger than us. Good effort.”
